I've recently been reading peoples 2009 training plans and goals on my favorite cycling websites and it has got me thinking. What are my goals? What am i trying to accomplish? And most importantly am i going to do it? First and foremost i'm going to have another little girl running around here soon. Not that the addition to the family will slow me down but its a force to be recconded with. I've had lofty goals for about 3 years now but i feel like its time. Its time to stop being a fat lazy guy and be who i want to be. Healthy and mega fast. Thats right i said it Fast strong. With my work hours being so out of control and my sleep schedule nonexistent sometimes all i want to do is eat when i'm up for 30 hours straight. So sitting down with a solid nutrition plan and sticking to it when things are tough(like right now). Then there is the riding and workout plan. That seems like a afterthought about what to do its just doing it thats the problem. Getting my ass out on the road or on the trainer or whatever. So in the next couple of days i'm going to sit down with my handy nutrition log i bought and some serious thinking about event and performance based goals.
